Jim Cosman played major league baseball for only a few years in the late 60's starting with the St Louis Cardinals and ending with the Chicago Cubs. He made history because he is the pitcher that threw the pitch that Hank Aaron hit his longest home run off of (in the Atlanta stadium). Not the best thing to be known for but, hey, he helped make history! well, Jim has recently started coming to St George Village a few times a week because he has Alzheimer's disease. His wife drops him off a few times a week so he can be around others with his same condition. Jim is a very sweet man! He is so tall and handsome even sill in his late 60's. He loves to talk and tell stories about himself as a child and about his short baseball career. What a blessing it is for me to meet such great people!
