May Crowning...part one

I am trying to catch up on all my pictures from the last few weeks/months so get ready for some pictures!!!

Every May Noah's school does a "May Crowning". The month of May is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mother and a "May crowning" is a way to honor Mary since she is the Mother of God. Usually Mary is crowned with a crown of flowers. The 4 year old class gets to crown Mary and Noah was chosen to carry the crown! I was so excited for him, especially since he has been in the school since he was 1 years old and this is the final year of preschool.
Noah and Madeline walking towards the statue of Mary.

The rest of the class joined them down the aisle to help with the crowning. It was so sweet watching them all work together!

They placed flowers at Mary's feet...
and on her head...
teamwork for sure!!
then they waited for all the other kids to bring flowers for Mary...
The turnout was great...all the moms and dads came to see their awesome kids...
After the crowning, the 4 year olds went back to the classroom for some yummy cold treats...

Miss Debbie made all of us tear up as she talked about how much she loves our kids...she really is the best teacher!
Miss Kate and the little monkey...
Noah with his buddy Luke...
They class celebrated the summer birthdays...Noah being one of them...
Ella, Madeline, and Noah....the summer bday group...
love this one...
Ella and her many crazy faces...
Noah too...
Madeline, the little diva...
i thought i would join in...

Kristi and Pace...
It was a beautiful day for a May Crowning!!
