Spring Break day 1 and 2

First, let me start off by warning you that this post has a TON of pictures and almost all of them are of Noah. So if you don't like looking at pictures of my child, this is not the post for you. Second, i apologize for not posting sooner. i have been BUSY!!!! Whew!! Very busy!!

Let me start with spring break...days 1 and 2. Poor Allen had to miss out on all the fun since he had to work but Noah and I had a week of fun!! We started our spring break week by joining Nathan on a college visit to Belmont Abbey in North Carolina. We drove up with my mom, Archbishop, Nancy, Sandy, Nathan, and Sophie on Monday afternoon. Nathan's appointment was Tuesday morning so we got to explore a little while we were there. I have actually been there before. I applied and was accepted to Belmont Abbey but had not been there since MY college visit.

I was very excited to visit Dean & Deluca and made my mom take a picture...
we had a late dinner and Noah got to stay up WAY past his bedtime. It was after 9pm when we left the restaurant and i had promised him he could go swimming in the hotel pool...

the water was FREEZING but Noah had a blast!

the next morning we woke up way too early and headed over to the college. Noah was on Murphy duty while Nathan took the campus tour. Noah was glad to be on dog duty...he and Murphy are buds!

The campus is so beautiful...

I had to get a picture of my poor mom like this. She slammed her own head in the car door...
I know I went a little picture crazy but it was so beautiful out i just couldn't help myself!!

We went into the adoration chapel to pray...
Fishboy and Fishgirl....
Before heading back home, we had lunch outside...

What a beautiful city!! And what a great start to our week of fun!!

1) I LOVE Dean & Deluca. Some days I consider driving to NC just to have some

2) The campus is beautiful and I didn't know you applied there!

3) I am trying to imagine this college visit and introducing the Archbishop, an extended family, and a dog to the unsuspecting tour guide. haha
