Live life to the fullest

Jim Cosman played major league baseball for only a few years in the late 60's starting with the St Louis Cardinals and ending with the Chicago Cubs. He made history because he is the pitcher that threw the pitch that Hank Aaron hit his longest home run off of (in the Atlanta stadium). Not the best thing to be known for but, hey, he helped make history! well, Jim has recently started coming to St George Village a few times a week because he has Alzheimer's disease. His wife drops him off a few times a week so he can be around others with his same condition. Jim is a very sweet man! He is so tall and handsome even sill in his late 60's. He loves to talk and tell stories about himself as a child and about his short baseball career. What a blessing it is for me to meet such great people!

Fall

The Fall is my favorite time of year!! This past weekend was awesome with cooler weather, soccer games, pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks, boots, fire in the fireplace, fall decorations, the scarecrows up and down hwy 9, Lifeteen starting back up which means standing room only at Mass, Saint Therese feast day, dinner in North Georgia with my favorite priest, and just the feeling of Fall in the air!!! I love it so much! I can't wait to head to a Pumpkin patch soon and go on a hayride!! What do you love about this time of year???

Cristina's Bday

Our good friends Kristin and Jessel have taken guardianship over a NOW 17 year old girl, Cristina. Cristina is awesome and fits so perfectly into the Dhabliwala family! She turned 17 at the end of the summer and had a bday party at a park on Lake Lanier. It was great being able to celebrate with her. Noah just adores her and we had a blast celebrating her. Somehow I didn't get a picture of the bday girl but i did get some of Noah playing with all the kids...

The weather was perfect!!
