Disney Trip 2011

This year for Noah's spring break we decided to go to Disney World. Uncle Bubba and Aimee gave Noah a ticket for Christmas! Since Allen's sister, Karen, lives in Orlando we decided to head down there and spend a few extra days hanging out with family! The week before the trip Noah and I got the stomach flu and it was HORRIBLE!!! As the trip got closer, we prayed Allen wouldn't catch it but the day before we left it hit him. Because I had already lined up people to help with ABD, I couldn't really postpone the trip. Allen and I talked about it and we decided Noah and I would head down there and Allen would join us when he could. Luckily, Barrett was planning on driving over to join us at Magic Kingdom so Noah and I would get to hang out with him the whole day. We had a BLAST!!!! It really was sooooo much fun!!!

Noah was so excited and Barrett was so helpful showing us how to really utilize the fast passes.



The first thing Noah wanted to do was ride the Buzz Lightyear ride (we ended up riding it 5 times that day!!)
Noah LOVED it!!!

and rode Buzz again....
we met Chip and Dale....
and rode Winnie the Pooh...
I must say the Winnie the Pooh ride had a GREAT line....lots of activities for kids to do while waiting! Plus I am pretty sure Barrett and I met Eminem in the line behind us...or an Eminem wannabe.... (hey Barrett, meet me in Bucktown will ya??)

We watched the Main Street Parade...we loved seeing all the characters!!!
And this is funny.... I was keeping a secret from Barrett because my mom was planning Barrett and Aimee's rehearsal dinner with a theme of Lady and the Tramp. She was keeping it a secret until all the invitations were done so i was not allowed to say anything to him. Barrett chose the place for dinner and guess what he picked.... Tony's (the restaurant from Lady and the Tramp)...and we ordered spaghetti!




It took everything in my power not to say anything to him!!
Then we took Noah to ride the roller coaster and he LOVED it!!!
Uncle Bubba had to leave after the roller coaster to drive back to Naples (4 hours away) but Noah and I stayed until the park closed. Noah got to pick out a few goodies from the park and we hung out waiting for the electrical parade...

It was so cute watching Noah wave to all the characters...






After the parade Noah wanted to ride the roller coaster again. It was so awesome. We got in the very row and as we were going up the big hill, the fireworks started in the park and we got the best view of them while riding the coaster. At one point, Noah leaned over to me and said "mom, this is the best day ever". It really was awesome!!!
