Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving was a whole week for us! Noah had off the whole week from school and every day we did something fun (besides sleep in). Have I mentioned how much i love the county I live in?!?! The Friday before Thanksgiving, his class did a little performance for the parents and I must say it was the cutest thing EVER!! Of course, i needed my dear friends to shed tears along side of me, as the parents in Noah's class aren't much of "cry-ers".

I got to take a look at the artwork hanging in the walls....I found Noah's....
Allen is part of the schools "Watch D.O.G.S" program (Dads of great students) and it was his day to be at the school all day helping in many classrooms so he got to hang out in Noah's class for the performance. Noah was chosen to spin some wheel as a learning tool for the rest of the kids as the parents were arriving.
Then the kids all went in the hall to prepare for the show!
They cam in and took their places. 3 of the kids read a story while the other kids all had a part.

Then some of the kids got up front and the whole class sang a song about being thankful and these kids were chosen to YELL outloud what they were thankful for. Noah yelled "My Mom" and tears streamed down my face. It was so sweet. The funny part was when it was all over, Noah came over to me and said "mom, did i make you cry?" I told him "of course, it was so sweet" and Noah said "Awesome..mission accomplished"..hahah
