Saturday morning after Noah's soccer game we drove up to Tiger, GA where Allen was having his retreat. Noah and I LOVE to tag along on the retreats. The drive up was so beautiful!!! All the trees are changing colors and it was so nice to drive through...
Noah missed all the pretty colors but thank goodness had a nice long nap on the way up...
As soon as we got up there Noah and I took off to go to Goats on a Roof. We love that goofy place...there are goats and chickens that really do just live on the roof of this place...
Noah is feeding this goat by pedaling a bike and moving the food up the ramp...

We sat by the big fire to warm up for a while...
Noah got to pick out a little pumpkin and some gourds on the way out... The gourds of course turned into guns...haha
The weirdest thing happened on the way out. The drive back to the retreat center from Goats on a Roof is probably 5 minutes tops. While driving back we were following a car when all of a sudden we heard a loud "bang" and had to slam on our breaks since the car in front of us came to a really quick stop. The driver jumped out of her car and was holding her head while rocking back in forth...all while standing in the middle of the road. I could see the windshield of the passenger side and it was all cracked with blood on it. I though she hit a deer. I told Noah to stay in the car, I called 911 and told them i thought she hit a deer and then i got out of my car to see if i could help this lady since she seemed VERY upset. As I walked up to the car I realized that there was a person in the passenger side of the car and they had shot themself. It was NOT a pretty site and I can't get the image of him out of head. Thankfully many more people stopped to help and since I had Noah with me and I didn't want him to see the dead body, we went back to the retreat center. I was very shaken up about it but played it off very well for Noah's sake. Noah had no clue what was happening. It was quite a strange happening on our great weekend.
We did manage to enjoy the rest of our weekend despite the whole "shooting" incident. Noah's "girlfriend", Sarah (who is 18 years old and just adores Noah) was there all weekend. Sarah is seriously one of the most amazing people I have ever met. After this weekend she will be called..."Sarah, braver than any man on the planet". Noah and one of the other little boys that was there all weekend got a ball stuck in a drain so they asked Jessel to get it out. Jessel thought it would be a good idea to throw MORE balls in the drain and get those stuck. Jessel was too scared to crawl in and get them so the boys asked Taylor (Sarah's REAL boyfriend) and he was also too scared to crawl in but guess who, in all her beauty, had no problems crawling ALL THE WAY IN and getting the football, soccerball, and volleyball?? SARAH!!!!
Sarah is forever....Braver than any man on the planet!! And Noah and Timothy will forever think of her as the hero!!
We could have stayed a week with the beautiful weather we were having....

It is just soooo pretty!!
Noah and I sat on a swing just enjoying the perfect scenery.

and enjoying sweet apples....
what a great weekend!
